Terms of Service

Last updated: 05/31/2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) cover your use of the chinaindustrytours.com website (the “Site”) and the travel planning and consulting services provided by China Industry Tours (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Site or our services, you (“you” or “the Client”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. What we provide

China Industry Tours plans and coordinates travel and business programs for international clients visiting China, including:

  • Custom itinerary design for business meetings, conferences and cultural experiences.
  • Coordination with third-party providers such as hotels, transport companies and local guides.
  • Consulting support for visa applications, travel logistics and Chinese entry requirements.

All services depend on availability and on the terms of the third-party providers involved.

2. Your responsibilities

As a Client, you agree to:

  • Give us accurate, complete and current information needed for your booking, such as your full legal name, passport details and special requests.
  • Follow the laws and regulations of China and your home country while traveling, including visa, customs and health and safety rules.
  • Review the confirmations, itineraries and service details we send you, and tell us promptly about any discrepancies.
  • Obtain and keep valid the travel documents you need, including your passport, visa and travel insurance.

3. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed once you accept our written proposal or quote and pay the deposit or full amount set out in the booking agreement.
  • Payment must be made by an approved method — credit card, bank transfer or another agreed channel — in the currency stated in the quote.
  • If payment is not completed by the agreed deadline, we may cancel the booking under our cancellation policy.

4. Cancellation and refunds

  • Cancellation by you:
    • 30 days or more before the trip start date: full refund of amounts received, less any non-refundable fees already paid to third parties (for example hotel deposits or transport tickets).
    • 15–29 days before the trip start date: 50% refund of amounts received, less non-refundable third-party fees.
    • Fewer than 15 days before the trip start date: no refund, as third-party services are usually non-cancellable at that stage.
  • Changes to bookings: itinerary, date or service changes may be possible depending on third-party availability. Additional fees may apply, and we are not responsible for costs arising from changes you request.
  • Force majeure: we are not liable for cancellations or disruption caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including government travel restrictions, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes or third-party failures. Where possible we will help you reschedule, but refunds are only issued where the law requires.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, images, itineraries and software — belongs to China Industry Tours and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or reuse it without our prior written consent.

6. Limits on our liability

  • China Industry Tours acts as a booking agent and consultant for third-party travel services. We do not own or operate those services and are not liable for their acts, errors, omissions, injuries, losses or damages.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption or personal injury, arising from your use of our services, even if we were told such damages were possible.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim under these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the relevant services.

7. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Shanghai, China.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
